Zontes 703RR launched at this year's Makina Moto Expo
Bristol Motorcycles Philippines has formally launched the Zontes 703RR, positioning it as a disruptive entry in the local middleweight sportbike segment. The new model introduces a blend of race-inspired engineering and premium components, aimed at riders seeking high performance without the traditional premium price tag.
At its core is a 699cc liquid-cooled, inline three-cylinder engine producing 95 horsepower at 11,200 rpm and 75 Nm of torque at 8,500 rpm. The triple-cylinder configuration delivers a balance of low-end torque and high-revving performance, offering strong acceleration and sustained high-speed capability. Bristol notes that the platform is engineered for both aggressive riding and everyday usability.
The 703RR is built around a lightweight aluminum alloy twin-spar frame designed for rigidity and responsive handling. Local units are equipped with Brembo brake calipers paired with dual 300mm semi-floating discs, enhancing stopping performance. Suspension duties are handled by fully adjustable Marzocchi front forks and a rear monoshock, while Michelin Power 6 tires provide grip and stability.
In terms of technology, the motorcycle features aerodynamic winglets and a ram air intake system to improve airflow and high-speed stability. Riders also benefit from a full-color TFT display with smartphone connectivity, tire pressure monitoring, dual-channel ABS, and traction control. A factory quickshifter and slipper clutch are included as standard, reinforcing its track-oriented credentials.
Compared to rivals that commonly use parallel-twin engines, the 703RR’s triple-cylinder setup offers a more linear power delivery and a distinctive exhaust character. Its comprehensive list of standard features reduces the need for aftermarket upgrades.
The Zontes 703RR is priced at PHP 498,800, with a limited introductory cash offer of PHP 468,800. Bristol Motorcycles Philippines said the model will be supported by its nationwide dealer network, ensuring access to parts and after-sales service.
