New Raider Blade and Pro editions coming this November
There’s been plenty of buzz lately surrounding the undisputed “King of Underbones,” the Suzuki Raider R150. First introduced more than 20 years ago, the Raider has undergone several updates and refinements through the years. Now, Suzuki is set to unveil two new variants of the iconic model next month, continuing its legacy of performance and dominance on the road.
Blade and Pro Edition
Since it’s no longer a secret, largely thanks to the flood of details circulating in social media groups devoted to the King of Underbones, we at MotoPinas.com took advantage of yesterday’s Suzuki Access ride to speak with company executives and gather more insights about the upcoming launch.
The executives confirmed that it is indeed the new Raider coming next month, and there will be two new variants coming.
First, the Blade Edition. The new model will feature a sleeker body, new graphics, mobile phone charging port, LED lighting and slipper clutch dubbed as the Suzuki Clutch Assist System (SCAS). Yes, that’s slipper clutch on a Raider R 150. The SCAS acts like a safety cushion when downshifting fast and it keeps your bike from jerking or skidding.
Second on the list is the Pro Edition, which includes all the features of the Blade Edition, plus two major upgrades: ABS and Suzuki’s Ride Connect System. Both technologies are firsts for a Suzuki underbone.
The Ride Connect System integrates a fully digital instrument panel with smartphone connectivity, offering added convenience and functionality such as turn-by-turn navigation, call and message alerts, and other useful ride information. Additionally, the Pro Edition appears to borrow its headlight design from the Gixxer 155, and now features a keyless ignition system that provides added convenience and improved security against theft.
The only detail Suzuki has yet to reveal is the official SRP of the Blade and Pro Editions, but we were assured that all will be unveiled on November 11, 2025.
