Ducati unveils factory-made customization program for the Multistrada

Harley-Davidson offers its renowned Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO) program, and now Ducati is following suit with its own factory-backed initiative. The Italian brand has unveiled the “Ducati Factory Made” program, which will make its debut on the Multistrada V4, allowing riders to personalize their bikes straight from the factory.

The Ducati Factory Made program allows motorcycles to be delivered exactly as specified by the customer, eliminating the need for any after-sales modifications. In-line assembly ensures consistent quality and adherence to Ducati’s rigorous production standards.

A centerpiece of Ducati Factory Made is the extensive range of colors and liveries, designed to let riders express their personal style. Options include the Icone colors, representing Ducati tradition; the glossy finishes of the Style series, highlighting elegance and modernity; and the matte tones of the Sophistication collection, for those seeking a truly exclusive look. Customers aiming to highlight their bike’s sporty character can opt for Performance Liveries or the Ducati Corse Liveries, inspired by Ducati’s racing heritage.

The program also deepens Ducati’s collaboration with Automobili Lamborghini, which previously produced special editions of the Diavel 1260, Streetfighter V4, and Panigale V4. Ducati Factory Made incorporates Lamborghini’s iconic Ad Personam color options, including Viola Pasifae, Arancio Xanto, Giallo Belenus, Blu Uranus, and Verde Scandal.

Technically, Ducati Factory Made offers a wide array of components for customization, such as cast wheels in multiple colors, forged alloy or spoked wheels, and color choices for the rear frame and brake calipers. Riders can also select seat heights for both rider and passenger, along with suspension configurations, providing a nearly handcrafted level of personalization straight from the factory.

Customers can also combine options from Ducati’s Touring, Adventure, Sport, Tech, and Enduro packages to tailor their bike’s style, comfort, and performance. The program also extends to the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak and RS models, allowing enthusiasts to choose ergonomic features, brake caliper colors, additional spotlights, and extra carbon components in line with dedicated liveries.

The Ducati Factory Made program is currently available on the official Ducati website for the European market, allowing riders to configure their ideal Multistrada V4 and request a quote from a dealer. Availability for other markets has not yet been announced.
