No name yet for the new KTM PH
Last July, Lucky MAPI—the official distributor of KTM products in the Philippines—announced that its contract with the Austrian manufacturer will not be renewed and is set to expire on September 30, 2025. This is due to Bajaj’s buyout of KTM, effectively saving it from its financial troubles. As the brand’s “new boss”, all crucial business decisions for KTM, including its Philippine operations, will now be directed by Bajaj.
As the month reaches its midpoint, the question remains unanswered: who will officially become KTM’s new distributor in the Philippines?

Speculation is already buzzing about who will take over as KTM’s new distributor in the Philippines, and Trimotors Technology Corporation—better known as Bajaj Philippines—is on top of the list. With its strong track record as the country’s biggest distributor of gasoline-powered three-wheelers, as well as its namesake, many see Bajaj Philippines as a natural fit to carry the KTM brand moving forward.
So, we asked them directly, and they pretty much denied the rumors, and it is still not clear who will take the torch as the new KTM PH.
“We would like to clarify that management has not had any open discussions about this matter, and we have not discussed it internally either. We are surprised by the circulating rumors and will keep you updated once we have more information,” said Kathlyn Sanchez, Marketing and Communications of Bajaj Philippines.
On the other hand, Lucky MAPI’s COO, Martin Madrid, told MotoPinas.com that while there’s still no official word, we might hear something by next week. For now, it’s business as usual—especially with the fresh KTM 390 lineup about to roll into showrooms nationwide.
