"Wind Naked 7" set for 2026 availability by Honda
Originally unveiled as the “EV Fun” concept at last year’s EICMA, the model has now moved swiftly toward reality. Honda confirmed that production will begin in the final quarter of this year, an announcement reinforced by the public debut of the full production version at this year’s show. Meet the WN7, Honda’s first full-EV production big bike.

Unlike small electric motorcycles and scooters, Honda’s WN7—short for “Wind Naked 7”—is compatible with a CCS2 charging port, the same fast-charging standard used by electric cars. Honda says that using a CCS2 charger can bring the battery from 20% to 80% in just 30 minutes, adding roughly 89 kilometers of range.
The WN7 can also be charged at home using a 230V AC charger that plugs into a standard household socket, requiring about 5.5 hours from 0% to 100%. For faster home charging, a dedicated wall-mounted 6kVA unit is also available, cutting the charging time to approximately 2.4 hours.
Range and features
Honda claims the WN7 out-accelerates the CB500 Hornet from zero to 100 km/h, needing only 4.6 seconds to get there. The 18 kW model has a top speed of 129 km/h, with 127 km/h available as its continuous maximum. Honda claims a 140-kilometer range for the 18 kW variant, measured at an average speed of roughly 55 km/h.
Mounted below the swingarm pivot to lower the center of gravity, the liquid-cooled motor delivers 50 kW peak power, 18 kW UNECE-certified constant output, 100 Nm of torque, and a 4,500 rpm maximum speed. It’s packaged with the Power Drive Unit to reduce weight and energy losses. The 349.44V high-voltage battery integrates its power electronics into a single centrally mounted pack for better mass centralization and fewer components, with cooling airflow fed to the radiator through dual shroud intakes.
Other features include a Pro-Arm swingarm, full LED lighting, four riding modes, Showa USD forks, traction control, ABS (with cornering ABS), regenerative braking, 5-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity, smart key, forward/reverse walk mode, and many more.
Availability
The WN7, set to be the flagship of Honda’s new electric motorcycle brand, is expected to arrive in European showrooms by early 2026. Availability and pricing for the Philippines have yet to be announced by Honda PH.
