A 600cc scooter might be on the way from KYMCO
KYMCO is probably one of the best in the world when it comes to manufacturing scooters – after all, it’s their forte. Currently, its flagship scooter, the AK 550, with its 550cc engine, is the largest in its lineup. Now, it seems that the Taiwanese brand will be going up a notch and will soon go from 550cc to 600cc.

New 600cc soon?
Just recently, government documents revealed that a “314 kilogram, 574.2cc” motorcycle has been approved for regulatory compliance in the country. As standard industry practice, this will be likely to be marketed as a “600cc” motorcycle or scooter.
Based on KYMCO’s lineup, there are two models that could carry the 600cc badge: the AK and the 3-wheel CV3.
Both the AK and the CV3 are powered by KYMCO’s inline twin, 550.4cc liquid-cooled engine with dual overhead cams. It can generate up to 51 ps of power and 52 nm of torque. Both scooters are packed with the latest technology from KYMCO, like riding aids, electronically adjustable windscreen, cruise control, and many more.

What sets the CV3 apart is the KALS system or the KYMCO Advanced Leaning Suspension and that it uses 2 front wheels that allow it to provide extra stability and confidence, under any circumstance.
KYMCO Philippines will be launching its latest addition at the upcoming Makina Moto Expo this April.
