Kove 625V brings 578cc V-twin cruiser to PH
Cruiser motorcycles from American and Japanese legacy brands have long carried premium price tags, putting many models out of reach for riders on a tighter budget. That has pushed some enthusiasts toward Chinese-made bikes, often customizing them to get the cruiser look and feel they want without spending a fortune.
Bristol Motorcycles is now giving those riders another option with the Kove 625V, a 578cc V-twin cruiser that combines a low-slung design with modern equipment and a dual tank setup.

Power comes from a newly developed 578cc DOHC, eight-valve, liquid-cooled 75-degree V-twin engine. Kove says the engine is tuned to deliver a linear torque curve and the character expected from a V-twin cruiser. Its low center of gravity is also intended to make the motorcycle easier to manage at low speeds.
One of the 625V’s more unusual features is its dual-fuel tank setup. It has a 15-liter teardrop-shaped main tank, along with a separate 5-liter auxiliary tank positioned beneath the seat. Combined, the system gives the cruiser a 20-liter fuel capacity,
with a claimed range of up to 500 kilometers on a full load of fuel. The additional capacity is integrated into the motorcycle without giving the main tank a bulky appearance, while keeping much of the fuel mass centralized.

Like the cruisers from established brands, the 625V has a low 700mm seat height, making it easier to manage for a wider range of riders. Forward-set foot controls and wide, sweep-back handlebars provide a relaxed riding position suited to longer trips.
Suspension consists of inverted front forks and twin rear shocks. Braking is handled by dual front discs and radial-mounted calipers with dual-channel ABS and traction control fitted as standard.
Final drive comes through a belt instead of the more common chain. This reduces the need for regular drivetrain cleaning and lubrication, which should be useful for riders who plan to use the cruiser for long-distance touring.

The cockpit gets a round TFT instrument panel with a retro-modern design and Bluetooth connectivity. It provides the necessary riding information while keeping the controls in line with the 625V’s classic cruiser styling.
The Kove 625V is available in Shiny Black, Green, and Silver. It is now offered at Bristol Motorcycles showrooms nationwide with an introductory price of PHP 388,800.
