Indian Motorcycle heads to EICMA on sales momentum

Indian Motorcycle announced that it is heading to EICMA in November on the back of rising sales across most European markets, with Romania, Poland, and the United Kingdom leading the brand’s growth in 2026.

The American motorcycle brand reported a 60.7% year-on-year sales increase in Romania, followed by 52.6% in Poland and 39.4% in the UK. Sales also grew in the Czech Republic by 20.1%, Spain by 14%, Germany by 11.1%, and Sweden by 7.9%, based on its 2026 versus 2025 figures.

The gains come as Indian Motorcycle prepares for its first EICMA appearance as an independent company. The brand will use the Milan motorcycle show to provide a business update and unveil the first wave of its model year 2027 lineup.

“Europe continues to be a significant part of our business,” said Mike Kennedy, CEO of Indian Motorcycle. He added that EICMA is an important venue for sharing new model information and reinforcing the company’s commitment to international markets.

The Indian Scout has been a key part of that performance. Kennedy said the platform leads Europe’s mid-size cruiser segment, outselling comparable models from Harley-Davidson and Honda.

Not all markets recorded growth. Sales in Switzerland remained flat, while Italy declined by 3.9% and France by 15.3%.

Indian Motorcycle also arrives at EICMA after a strong season in racing. The Indian Wrecking Crew won the 2026 King of the Baggers Championship aboard the Indian Challenger in what the company described as a record-breaking season.

Alongside its new model announcements, Indian Motorcycle said it will continue to focus on improving the ownership experience and strengthening dealer support across its three main platforms: Scout, Chief, and PowerPlus baggers and tourers.
