This strong showing reaffirms KTM’s significant position in the global motorcycle market and highlights the unwavering loyalty of its community.

“The last six months have shown that the motorcycle community’s support for the KTM brand remains unbroken,” said KTM CEO, Gottfried Neumeister.

“Our innovative spirit, our know-how, and our passion are responsible for our strong market position. Over 100,000 motorcycles sold in the first half of the year give us confidence that our bikes are popular all over the world and that we are back on the right track,” added the KTM CEO.

These positive sales figures have allowed KTM to significantly reduce inventory levels and successfully reactivate its entire supply chain.

Hiring more, renewed customer commitment

While KTM’s mass layoffs made headlines just a few months ago, the company says that it is now intensifying its recruitment efforts both in Austria and internationally, actively seeking qualified specialists and managers, particularly at its headquarters. Neumeister emphasized the critical role of employees in the company’s strength, inviting enthusiastic individuals to actively shape KTM’s future in an international environment, with support for relocation offered.

Additionally, KTM says that it will now focus on customer satisfaction, quality, and sustainable growth. The company is actively involving customers through initiatives like “Orange Blood” and the participatory “Orange Board,” where a 15-member panel provides direct feedback to management. This initiative aims to drive practical innovations, enhance the brand, and anticipate industry trends. Furthermore, a newly established Dealer Excellence Center is strengthening the global dealer network, fostering even greater customer loyalty.

“If we put the customer at the center of our actions and focus on quality and differentiation, this will be reflected in the economic success of our company in the future,” Neumeister concluded.
