390 SMC R shown to the public for the first time
2025 might indeed look bright for the struggling KTM. At this year’s EICMA, the Austrian company has reintroduced excitement to its entry-level bikes as they show off 3 new variants of the 390 platform in addition to the RC 390, 390 Duke, and 390 Adventure/R.
True hooligan bike

Supermotos – with the power and torque of a motocross bike – is the true hooligan bike of a skilled rider. For 2025-onwards, KTM will introduce the 390 SMC R supermoto to the market.
Like the RC, the Duke and the Adventure/R, the upcoming 390 SMC R will be using the same 373 cc, DOHC thumper manufactured by Bajaj. However, KTM stripped the 390 Adventure with much of the plastics, swapped the alloy wheels for a pair of 17-inch wire wheels, dirtbike panel and put on an enduro seat and supermoto fender.
Other than those mentioned above, everything else stays the same including the Bybre brakes, ABS, ride-by-wire, slipper clutch, traction control and WP suspension.
PH availability

Much like the upcoming 390 Adventure R, LuckyMAPI says that they are also hoping for the 390 SMC R to arrive here in the country within Q1 of 2025. The SRP, they say, will be more or less PHP 400,000.
