2025 390 Adventure R first public appearance at EICMA
It was at the 2019 EICMA when KTM debuted the 390 Adventure motorcycle. Then, in 2020, it made its Philippine debut. Thanks to the 390 Adventure’s pocket-size build and accessible price tag, it became one of the best-selling motorcycles for KTM here in the country and has introduced adventure riding to a broader motorcycle riding population regardless of skill level.
From 2025 onwards, KTM has once again introduced the 390 Adventure in EICMA, but this time, it’s with the “R.”
390 Adventure R

For the 2025 model year onwards, KTM presents the 390 Adventure R which is more off-road oriented than the 2019 creation. It features the same, 373 cc liquid-cooled, DOHC Bajaj-made engine found in the 390 Duke delivering almost 45 ps of power.
What’s new is the swapping of the 19” front and 17” cast wheels to 21” front and 18” wire wheels for more enjoyment off-road. KTM also says that the new 390 Adventure R takes inspiration from the Dakar Rally-winning bike 450 Rally, with its high fender, rally-inspired fairings and vertical windscreen.

The 390 Adventure R is equipped with WP suspension.
PH Availability
During the launching of the Enduro Factory Off-Road Track in Vermosa, one of Lucky MAPI’s bosses, Dan Abelarde, who was also an avid adventure bike rider, was there during the event. Speaking with MotoPinas.com, Boss Dan – as we call him, discussed some of the company’s future plans, including the upcoming bikes for the riding community.
According to Boss Dan, they were hoping that the 390 Adventure R will be arriving here in the country just in time for the 2025 edition of the FJMOTO Mountaincross Adventure but current logistical challenges (beyond their control) prevent them from doing so.

Hopefully, he says, that the 390 Adventure R will arrive no later than the end of Q1 2025. Additionally, the price range will be more or less PHP 400,000.
