The CE 02 PH debut at Makina

After almost a year when it was first presented by BMW Motorrad, the CE 04’s younger sibling CE 02 has finally landed in the Philippines. Presented at the 2024 Makina Moto Show, the new BMW CE 02 can be yours for an SRP of PHP 595,000.

According to BMW Motorrad Head of South East Asia Region, Shivipada Ray, these new light electric vehicles (LEVs) are proudly made in India, which is one of the fastest-growing countries in the world in terms of EV development and manufacturing.

The CE 02 is equipped with riding modes

The new CE 02 is an LEV equipped with 3 riding modes for optimal riding experience, especially in the urban jungles of the metro.

“Flow” offers the optimal set-up for cruising along in urban traffic, while “Surf” provides a dynamic riding experience beyond the bustling city traffic. Additionally, “Flash” riding mode is also available as a sporty and dynamic addition since all PH-spec CE 02 are top-of-the-line versions.

Quick charger as standard equipment

Being the top-spec version, the CE 02 LEVs here in the country will also be equipped with a fast charger capable of fully charging the bike in as little as 3 hours from 0% to full battery.

TFT display, USB-C charging port and connectivity solutions

In the cockpit, an easy-to-read TFT display informs the driver about riding speed, battery charge status and much more. A USB-C charging socket also allows the rider to charge a smartphone or other gadgets.

Through the BMW Motorrad Connected app, your smartphone will show you the remaining battery charge via Bluetooth. A cradle mode allows the BMW Motorrad app in the smartphone (held in a smartphone holder) to be controlled safely as an additional display using the keypad on the handlebar. It is also possible to record your trips using the app.
