Suzuki Philippines Launches the GSX-8T and GSX-8TT
Suzuki Philippines has announced the arrival of the all-new GSX-8T and GSX-8TT, introducing a fresh neo-retro experience to the local motorcycle scene. These models, globally announced just last month, blend retro spirit and next-generation performance, expertly combining classic aesthetics with modern engineering. The Philippines will be one of the first countries in the world to receive these bikes, a testament to the Hamamatsu-based manufacturer’s focus on the local market.
The GSX-8T and GSX-8TT are the latest additions to Suzuki’s naked sport lineup, designed to appeal to a wide range of riders with their traditional styling and high-performance capabilities.
Guided by the core concepts of “Timeless, Innovative, and Passionate,” these motorcycles pay homage to iconic Suzuki designs without simply recreating the past.

Honoring the T500 Titan
The “T” in GSX-8T honors the classic T500 “Titan,” while the GSX-8TT, with its mini cowl, signifies the “Timeless” revival of bikes like the GS1000 AMA racer.
Powering both models is Suzuki’s latest 776cc parallel-twin DOHC engine, which is also used in the GSX-8S and GSX-8R series. This engine provides strong, easy-to-control torque and a free-revving feel, complemented by the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.). This advanced system includes features like the Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (SDMS), Suzuki Traction Control System (STCS), and a Bi-directional Quick Shift System, offering riders precise control and a more predictable riding experience.

The chassis is designed for a blend of comfort, stability, and agile handling, featuring a steel frame, KYB inverted front forks, and a preload-adjustable KYB rear suspension. Both models are equipped with Nissin calipers and a two-channel ABS for confident stopping.
They also feature a 5-inch full-color TFT display, a USB Type-C socket for high-speed charging, and unique handlebar end mirrors that enhance visibility.
The Suzuki GSX-8T and GSX-8TT are expected to arrive at Suzuki Big Bikes Centers nationwide within August 2025. The GSX-8T will be available in Metallic Matte Steel Green and Metallic Matte Black with an SRP of PHP 699,000. The GSX-8TT, with its additional mini cowl, will be available in Glass Sparkle Black and Pearl Matte Shadow Green with an SRP of PHP 729,000.
