Can-Am shows its 2025 Origin adventure bike

Last month, Canadian 3-wheeler recreational sports vehicle manufacturer, Can-Am, teased fans with its upcoming 2-wheeler lineup and even showed an adventure bike being developed in-house.

Just recently, the company finally took the covers off its latest adventure bike: the 2025 Origin electric adventure bike.

Inspired by the TNT

During the 70s, Can-Am has been dominating off-road races in North America and its weapon of choice was the TNT. According to Can-Am, the Origin takes inspiration from the original 70s-era TNT – paying homage to the company’s rich motocross heritage.

Features

One of the important things to consider in dual-sport/adventure riding – which demands agility – is the bike’s weight. The engineers at Can-Am have developed the Origin with as few parts as possible and have made the battery part of the chassis.

With this, the weight of the Origin only tips the scales at 181 kilos.

The Can-Am Origin also boasts a KYB full suspension system, single-sided swingarm, 6 riding modes, reverse function, clutchless, battery regeneration, all-LED lighting, 10.25-inch TFT screen, Bluetooth connectivity, wire wheels, ABS, traction control and many more.

Charging and range

Can-Am boasts that the Origin only needs 50 minutes to recharge its liquid-cooled lithium-ion battery from 20% to 80% with the use of a Level 2 charging station. Unfortunately, with all these exciting features, the Can-Am Origin can only give up to 145 kilometers in city riding, and may be more or less 100 kilometers off-road.

The 2025 Can-Am Origin will be available in 2 variants: Origin and Origin ’73. The Origin, with all standard features, will be sold for USD 14,499 (roughly 815,000 without PH taxes and duties), while the Origin ’73 with premium trim, ’73 badging, LinQ windshield, and more, will be sold for USD 16,499 (roughly 927,000 without PH taxes and duties).
