VinFast announces pre-booking, battery subscription and swap fees
Earlier this month, MotoPinas.com got an early look at VinFast’s pricing plans through dealer sources, and the numbers immediately caught our attention. With prices starting at PHP 70,000, the Evo, Feliz II, and Viper, and their battery swapping capabilities could finally become the reason for many Pinoy riders to switch to electric. Now, VinFast has officially opened reservations, with interested buyers needing only a PHP 3,000 (non-refundable) reservation fee to secure a unit.
What makes the announcement even more interesting is the running cost. VinFast says its battery subscription starts at just PHP 439/month/battery, while each battery swap costs only PHP 35.

For riders looking to spend less on daily commuting, that’s a figure worth paying attention to. VinFast claims a fully charged battery can deliver up to 85 kilometers of range, a distance that would typically require around two liters of gasoline on a conventional scooter. At today’s fuel prices, that’s a comparison many budget-conscious riders will likely find hard to ignore.
So, from June 10 to July 18, interested buyers can reserve a unit through VinFast dealerships nationwide or via the company’s official website. Customers who place early orders will also receive incentives worth PHP 5,600.
The Evo starts at PHP 70,000 under the battery subscription scheme, while the Feliz II starts at PHP 72,400 and the Viper at PHP 81,900. Buyers who prefer traditional ownership can also purchase the motorcycles with one or two batteries included, at an additional PHP 12,700/battery.

All three models are powered by a 5,200W BLDC hub motor. The Feliz II and Viper have a claimed top speed of 90 km/h, while the Evo tops out at 80 km/h. With two fully charged 1.5-kWh LFP batteries installed, VinFast says these e-scooters can travel up to 150 kilometers under standard riding conditions.
The launch comes as VinFast continues building its battery-swapping ecosystem in the country through partner V-Green. The company has previously announced plans to deploy 30,000 battery-swapping stations nationwide. First deliveries are expected to begin in July 2026.
