KTM announces new production timeline
KTM has yet to announce its new official distributor in the Philippines, with the transition set to take effect on October 1, 2025, which is the day after Lucky MAPI’s contract expires. Meanwhile in Europe, the Austrian manufacturer has resumed operations with support from Bajaj, but has also revised its production schedule, delaying the launch of several key models.
This means that the following 2025 models will become 2026/2027 models:
KTM 990 RC R – Production begins October 2025
KTM 1390 Super Adventure S – Production begins October 2025
KTM 1390 Super Adventure S EVO – Production begins October 2025
KTM 1390 Super Adventure R – Production begins October 2025
KTM 990 Duke R – Production begins November 2025
KTM 1390 Super Duke GT – Production delayed until 2027
KTM CEO, Gottfried Neumeister, noted that customer excitement has been “tremendous” since the EICMA debut, adding that the revised schedule allows the company to ensure each model meets its performance and technology standards.
“By focusing on achieving complete readiness, we are confident the new models will deliver superior performance and innovative technology that set new benchmarks in the industry,” Neumeister said.
To reinforce customer confidence, KTM is also introducing a complimentary four-year Premium Manufacturer’s Warranty on all new 2023–2026 LC8 and LC8c Street and Adventure models. This extends coverage by two years beyond the standard warranty, offering riders added peace of mind and long-term support. KTM expects the first wave of new models to reach the market by late 2025 and early 2026.
While KTM is still looking for its new flag carrier in the Philippines, Lucky MAPI has assured riders that it remains committed to delivering a world-class customer experience for the loyal KTM community. The company emphasized that KTM’s nationwide dealer network from Luzon to Visayas and Mindanao, will continue to offer strong after-sales support and the brand’s latest models, with the highly anticipated new 390 series set to arrive in showrooms soon.
