Triumph Motorcycles Thruxton 400 eyed for Q3 2026 arrival
India received the Thruxton 400 from Triumph Motorcycles in August last year. Inspired by the flagship Triumph Thruxton 1200, the smaller model is built on the brand’s 400cc platform shared with the Triumph Speed 400, Triumph Scrambler 400 X, and Triumph Scrambler 400 XC.
Naturally, we asked when the Thruxton 400 would arrive locally, and were told of an initial target set for the fourth quarter of last year. That timeline, however, did not materialize as planned.
That question was raised again with Triumph Motorcycles Philippines after a reader asked in the comments of the Trident 800 launch story, and this time, there was a clear answer: the Thruxton 400 is headed to the Philippines in the second half of 2026.
“The Thruxton 400 will be arriving sometime in the second half of the year, most likely in the third or fourth quarter,” said John Mendoza, Head of Marketing, Triumph Motorcycles Philippines.
As with its siblings, the Thruxton 400 from Triumph Motorcycles is built on a shared platform and powered by the same 398cc TR-series single-cylinder engine, delivering 40 PS and 37.5 Nm of torque. It also carries over the same frame and suspension setup.
What sets it apart is the styling. Staying true to its roots, it gets classic café racer touches like a front fairing, low clip-on handlebars, and bar-end mirrors, finished off with a Monza-style fuel cap, bullet seat, and retro-inspired paint.
The only thing left is the price, and that likely won’t be revealed until the Thruxton 400’s Philippine debut.
